Gastronomical Sovereignty is about my adventures with food and the ethical dilemmas of eating in a way that does the least amount of damage to the planet, the animals and each other.
I believe in eating organically local, regionally in season and when it comes to meat and dairy, pastured. CSAs are brilliant and second only to growing our own food. We should all have chickens and tomato plants. We should all live smaller and love better.
When I’m not dreaming
food, preparing food, eating food, or writing food, I like being in nature, camping, reading good novels,
bourbon, and pigs. Not all at the same time. But maybe so, too.
